About Taylor
I completed a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban and Sustainable Design, which shaped my understanding of architecture as both an artistic and human-centred discipline. Over 8 years of teaching, I have guided students through design uncertainty, helping them translate abstract ideas into coherent visual expressions. This experience taught me how to balance creative freedom with disciplined structure. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind design decisions, refine their visual communication, and build confidence in presenting ideas. I take time to guide learners through iterative improvement rather than rushing outcomes. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with architecture through design research, sustainability studies, and project analysis. These experiences enrich my lessons. Teaching architecture is meaningful because I witness students discover their creative identity and grow into confident designers.

Architecture lessons are structured to help students understand how ideas transform into meaningful spaces. I introduce design principles, spatial logic, form development, and visual communication through calm and supportive instruction. Lessons emphasise balancing creativity with structure and purpose. Beginners learn foundational sketching, proportion, and conceptual thinking. Intermediate learners develop spatial reasoning, material understanding, and presentation skills. Advanced students focus on project development, portfolio organisation, and design narratives. Each lesson encourages exploration and confidence. Architecture lessons help students grow creatively and analytically. Learners become more observant and expressive. My goal is to help students develop a strong design voice grounded in thoughtful reasoning.
