About Lyra
I developed a deep passion for architecture during my Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in Architectural Design, where I explored the intersection of creativity, functionality, and technical problem solving. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students cultivate their creative abilities, refine design thinking, and build confidence in expressing architectural ideas effectively. My teaching focuses on patience, structure, and individualized attention, creating a supportive environment where learners can thrive and experiment with innovative design concepts.
I design lessons to balance theory, practical exercises, and conceptual exploration. Beginners develop fundamental skills in drawing, proportion, and basic modeling, intermediate learners strengthen their ability to analyze, visualize, and construct designs, and advanced students tackle complex projects, integrate technical knowledge, and refine portfolios. I encourage independent thinking, critique participation, and iterative improvement to nurture creative confidence and design fluency.
Beyond the classroom, I remain engaged with contemporary architectural trends, sustainable design practices, and global case studies. I bring these insights into my teaching to inspire learners and show the relevance of architecture in real-world contexts. Witnessing students progress from tentative beginners to capable, confident designers with a unique design perspective is immensely rewarding. My ultimate goal is to cultivate imaginative, disciplined, and self-assured learners who can approach architectural challenges with creativity, precision, and professional insight.

Architecture becomes fascinating when learners understand how spaces, form, and function interact to create meaningful environments. I focus on visual design, spatial planning, technical drawing, modeling, and conceptual thinking. Beginners learn sketching, proportion, composition, and design vocabulary. Intermediate learners explore advanced model making, spatial reasoning, sustainable materials, and architectural visualization techniques. Advanced learners focus on portfolio development, project organization, design presentation, and integrating creative concepts with technical solutions.
Lessons emphasize exploration, creativity, and structured problem solving. I use visual examples, case studies, sketches, and practical exercises to develop conceptual clarity and expressive confidence. Each class is tailored to individual learning goals and encourages discussion, critique, and iterative design improvement. My approach ensures learners develop both technical competence and creative thinking skills while cultivating a strong architectural perspective and design identity.
Architecture lessons help students enhance creativity, spatial awareness, and analytical skills. Learners gain the ability to evaluate design challenges, communicate ideas visually, and balance aesthetics with functionality.
