About Nancy
"Holding a BMus Piano Performance from Queensland Conservatorium provides the foundation for my 3 years of teaching. Do you struggle to find a music instructor who understands your specific goals? I guide working professionals, intermediate players, children, and absolute beginners through the intricacies of the keyboard.
My approach balances technical rigor with the pure enjoyment of creating music. I frequently incorporate jazz improvisation and pop styles to keep things fresh.
You will develop a solid grasp of scales, arpeggios, and dynamics. Many of my students perform with real confidence after just 1 term. Managing the subtle nuances of pedaling technique is a common focus for us. Please reach out if you would like to start this musical journey."

"Starting with a diagnostic playing assessment ensures we build an accurate learning plan before your first full study session. You will walk through the mechanics of your technique alongside me.
My 3 years of training at Queensland Conservatorium informs how I break down complex sight reading. We will focus on expression and artistic control from the very beginning. You might find that playing feels much more natural after a few key adjustments. I am here to help you enjoy the process of making music."
