About Elliot
Spending 11 years as a singer-guitarist in the Melbourne scene means I have navigated the ins and outs of performance by being self-taught. I translate that direct experience into lessons that cover reading tabs, lead guitar, and songwriting. We explore blues progressions together and tackle grade exam prep to build your technical repertoire. It is rewarding to see students find joy in the process of mastering a new chord progression or solo.

"Struggling with hand position or confusing rhythm patterns stops many players from progressing. You need a clear path forward that ignores the filler and gets straight to the playing. Having taught 290 students, I rely on my background to keep things focused on your individual progress. My 11 years of experience in the industry informs how I break down complex ideas for younger learners between 10 and 14 years old.
