About Socorro
I have been working in education for over 9 years. My journey began as an AVID tutor while pursuing my undergraduate degree at UCR, and I also gained experience with a private tutoring company. After earning my Bachelor's degree, I worked as a substitute teacher across various subjects. During this time, I decided to pursue my teaching credential, completing my program in December 2021. I began teaching full-time in March 2022 and am currently teaching at a continuation school.
