About Marife
Hello! I am an experienced chess coach and competitive tournament player based in Toronto. Through my time actively teaching students of various levels, I have learned exactly how to tailor my lessons so they are engaging, easy to digest, and genuinely fun.
I take my role as a tutor very seriously. You can always count on a professional, welcoming environment where questions are encouraged. Rather than just showing you the right moves, I focus on teaching you how to think.
