About Juliana
Holding a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy changed my view on how to teach rhythm guitar. Most students think reading tabs is the only way to progress but I prefer ear training. My 13 years of experience include electric technique and tuning and maintenance.
I also cover lead guitar and fingerpicking for those seeking grade exam prep. San Juan is my home and I carry that heritage into every single lesson I lead.

First sessions often feel surprisingly informal even though I have a Diploma of Music. You might expect a rigid structure but I prioritize rhythm and feel over strict adherence to the page.
I walk you through electric technique and help you sharpen your ear for better fingerpicking. The best way to learn involves a monthly recorded review of progress to track your development.
My process is friendly and patient because I want you to enjoy the process of playing. Tuning and maintenance are also part of the plan to keep your instrument in top shape.
I often find that focusing on the spirit of the song helps more than just reading tabs. Let me know if you have specific guitar goals you want to hit soon. It really helps when we stay consistent with our practice schedule.
