About Sarah
Meet Your Art Instructor: Sarah
With a strong educational background in Design and Computation Arts from Concordia University and a DEC in Liberal Arts, History, and Civilizations from Champlain College, I bring a unique blend of creativity, history, and critical thinking to my teaching. My journey as an artist is rooted in curiosity—an endless exploration of options and possibilities, where playing with ideas and finding tangible ways to express them is at the heart of my practice. For me, art is a form of freedom, a space where imagination knows no bounds.
As an art teacher, I find joy in continually discovering new art forms, styles, techniques, and perspectives—drawing inspiration from both the masters of the past and the contemporary artists of today. My goal is to help each of my students unlock their creative potential and explore their unique interests. I believe that art is not just about following instructions but about pushing boundaries, questioning the status quo, and expanding one's horizons.
In my classes, students are encouraged to push their ideas as far as they can, to be bold in their creativity, and to express themselves freely. I ensure that every student receives personalized, constructive feedback throughout their artistic journey, helping them grow not only as artists but as individuals. And while I guide them, I also learn from their perspectives, making each class a shared journey of discovery.
