About Maria
I have over 20 years experience in the design illustration and art field. I am a qualified teacher and have taught in University, College of TAFE and local schools. I have been part of gallery exhibitions and been part of overseas workshop trips, such as Europe and Japan. I have also been involve in business where l have designed artwork for products in the commercial industry for major corporate clients, building brands from concept stage through to finished product. This also involved artwork, concept, design and marketing presentations to national and overseas retail buyers and retailers.

I cover a broad range of techniques with a range of mediums varying from pencil sketching, watercolour, pastel to acrylic painting. Classes commence with basic technique skill, design and art concepts, usually working with one medium to begin with until the students developed their technique. As classes continue we increase the variety of mediums to find the ones that suit the student. Project will also vary depending on what is needed. This can change from still life drawings, to working from a photograph to draw out what the student is seeing, to totally creative concepts as they become more experience with their visualisation. My aim is to look for ways to help others grow their talents.

Details
Classes need to be a minimum of 2 to 3 hours or more to get best results.l would prefer to teach in the Gold Coast area. If there are a large number of students l am happy to organise a workshop In Robina.
