We make art because we are human.
We all need the freedom of creative expression to thrive in life.
I offer Art as Therapy lessons to all ages and faces at my dedicated space, Many Arts Studio, in Hawthorn.
I can teach your choice of an art form such as crochet, book making, weaving, print making (gelli plate, cyanotype), painting, and paper craft projects with a therapeutic intent and loving presence.
I can also support you to nurture your natural awareness of and connection to the world around you through a structured process of art making using different materials and found objects in the studio.
And when words fall short in the face of life's challenges, I can help you to find authentic expression through art making, which can bring clarity and relief to the situation.
As a professional psychotherapist as well as an avid explorer of diverse arts and crafts, I understand and deeply appreciate the different ways and stages of art making. I am flexible and pragmatic in my approach. I respect both you, the unique artist, and the creative process.
