About Kita
A Fine Arts University student and winner of Oil Painting People’s choice Southern perspectives winner 2021. I teach the creative arts to other people of all ages in multiple art practices. My skills range from watercolour, oil, acrylic, graphite, digital and many other mediums of art.
I achieved dux in both Visual art and Design ATAR in my final year of high school. I have been in many art programs and currently am still enrolled in Fine Art university classes where I have achieved high distinctions in master drawing.
I have over ten years of art experience, pairing with experience in babysitting and working with children. Just last year I was published in San Francisco for an artwork of mine.
Most importantly I am a positive, upbeat, communicative person who is interested in sharing some of my favourite learnings!

About the lesson

Depending on your age, level and medium of choice we will start at your abilities and slowly introduce new techniques. I find it is really important not to just teach completely new ways of right and wrong, but use lessons to build on your style. Art is so subjective that learning is what we will do in our lessons.
For instance for watercolour classes, we will start with the basics of how to use watercolour, blending and mixing these colours. Next we either work off life or a reference image, and practice painting with watercolour roughly. Slowly through experience, tips and trail and error you will come out more able to use the medium.
