About Laretta
I love Art!! My students range in age from 8 to 95 years old and benefit from my experience as a practicing artist. I tutor face to face individually, or to small groups.
I teach and practice traditional Atelier techniques, observational drawing (no tracing!), thru' to post- modernist multi media processes. Specialise in yr10 to HSC Visual Arts Tutoring/Conceptual Framework and Adult Tutoring.

My teaching method is face-to-face, and features scaffolded, experiential and active learning, including building self esteem, confidence, communication and self management. Students learn basic to advanced drawing methods. Art history and artistic methods are included in tutorials. Most materials are supplied in tuition fee unless stated otherwise.
Students also participate in local regional and boutique gallery exhibitions. Students also benefit from embedded employability skills including communication, problem solving, initiative, planning and organising and teamwork!!
Students have consistently demonstrated higher grades in assessments, more successful learning pathways and reported job/personal study satisfaction
