About Georgina
I am a young lawyer, currently working as a Judge's Associate. While I have opted to pursue a career in the law, I have had a passion for languages since starting to learn German in primary school. In 2017 I graduated from Arts/Law, with an Extended Major in German, and a Diploma of Languages in French, at The University of Queensland. While at uni, I completed courses at the University of Freiburg and Humboldt University in Berlin, and studied on exchange for a semester in Switzerland. I have some professional experience working in German, as I completed an internship in Berlin and was employed for a period of time in Brisbane as a German-speaking paralegal.
I am happy to teach all levels of German. As a native English speaker and having learnt German from scratch as a second language, I have a very good understanding of the particular challenges you may face in tackling the German language. I also have first hand experience with school and university curricula in relation to German subjects.

I am a flexible tutor and happy to fit in with my students' preferences. I can come prepared with a lesson plan and supporting material, or can otherwise assist with learning subject matter nominated by the student. I will always try to incorporate some skills development - eg. by sharing tips and tricks that I use to learn languages.
