About Melissa
I have sent the last 6 years of my life in higher educations, achieving a high-level BSc in Zoology with a particular interest in molecular biology and am currently studying to achieve my Master's degree in Parasitology at the prestigious Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
I was a mentor for younger students during my undergraduate programme and coordinated multiple study groups during this time.
I have experience as an equestrian director, teaching groups of children in California and Texas. While this is not academic I think it's important to show versatility in my teaching styles both academic and not.
I am working towards achieving a Ph.D. in Parasitology and Vector Borne-disease.

My name is Melissa Hale and I am an active post-graduate student working towards a Ph.D in Parasitology and Vector-Borne Disease.
I have a background in Zoology and Molecular Biology.
I am comfortable teaching GCSE science Bio, Chem or Phys (up to triple award) and specifically A-level Biology.
I prefer teaching smaller groups/ individuals so to best suit the lesson to the student and work on their prefered subjects as approparite.
I like a flexible lesson plan, focusing the attention where it is needed, both to understand teh core concepts and pass the very specific exam schemes.
