I graduated with distinction in 2013 in an integrated degree of law and humanities. Pursued Master of Philosophy in international legal studies and dropped out of PhD to leave for London on scholarship for Masters in Law (LLM). Thus after four and half academic degrees, and a decade as student and researcher, I am pursuing my passion for teaching and creating knowledge. I am an Assistant Professor, teaching over 300 students full time. As someone who thrives on creation and construction of knowledge, I believe that everyone should have equity in terms of opportunity, access and resources so that they can realise their fullest potential, achieving highest grades. I am a recent graduate of SOAS, the University of London as British Chevening scholar, I pursued law and development, human rights and Islamic law, comparative constitutional law and history of international law. I have research Masters degree from India's premier University, Jawaharlal Nehru University. I am Rhodes Scholarship finalist as well as Reserve Bank of India Young Scholar, 2012. I have joint bachelors degree in law and arts, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law University, Lucknow. I have studied in China on scholarship and was awarded Honours Certificate H.E. Judge Peter Tomka. President, International Court of Justice in recognition of outstanding performance. For academic purposes of Model United Nations, I have travelled to more than dozen countries across world, mostly sponsored by governments and organisations. I have worked as judicial assistant to Supreme Court Judges. I am also an entrepreneur heading an educational initiative in India wherein I teach disenfranchised students across schools and universities. I am registered solicitor in India, eligible to represent clients in High Courts as well as Supreme Court of India. My passion for Model UN has taken me across the globe where I indulged in teaching and training students from different backgrounds. I have taught school students to masters students so kind of have knack for getting the things through in simple, effective and interesting way. I have exhaustive notes on law which I can share. I have notes for property law, tort, contract and equity. University : - Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University - B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) As a Professor of Law, History, and Philosophy with a deep focus on South Asia, I bring nearly a decade of teaching experience where the success of my students is my highest priority. My approach is rooted in patience and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every student not only understands the material but also learns how to apply it in real-life scenarios. In my classroom, I employ the Socratic method—a teaching style that encourages critical thinking through dialogue and questioning. This approach helps students develop their own insights and apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations, making learning both practical and profound. I believe that true understanding comes not just from absorbing information but from engaging with it actively, questioning it, and relating it to the complexities of our world. Each lesson I deliver is meticulously planned to guide students through the subject matter in a structured way, ensuring that by the end of each session, they have a clear grasp of the key concepts. My lessons often begin with a brief overview to set the stage, followed by interactive discussions, case studies, and practical applications that reinforce the material. My teaching philosophy is centred on the belief that education should empower students to think independently and critically. Whether you're delving into the intricate philosophies that have shaped civilisations or the legal frameworks that govern societies, my goal is to make sure that you leave each lesson not just with knowledge, but with the ability to use that knowledge effectively in your personal, academic, or professional life. I invite you to join my classes where learning is not just about passing exams but about truly understanding and applying what you learn.
