About Jo
I'm a recent graduate with a BS in astrophysics and physics, and worked for the math department at my university throughout my undergraduate career. I have experience in mathematics courses up to and including partial differential equations, and minored in mathematics. I hope to be able to assist students struggling with math courses, whether they're at the beginning of a math-oriented career or just taking a math class to satisfy a graduation requirement!

I focus on the interests and areas of difficulty of the individual student, largely allowing them to dictate the direction of lessons by what they struggle with or have questions about in order to best be able to provide help with the material. I'm experienced in tutoring 100-level undergraduate mathematics courses, and am able to tutor any math ranging from algebra to calculus. I aim to help students in high school or undergraduates in college who are taking standard/introductory math courses.
