About Rachel
I am a second year student at Lancaster University studying Astrophysics. I am teaching a 6 year old basic maths currently and in the past, a 16 year old for physics GCSE exam help - she achieved her goal grade of an A*.
I love breaking down, at first seemingly complex ideas into simple ideas for everyone to understand. By using a more simple approach that classrooms don’t have the time to teach, the whole subject becomes a lot easier and enjoyable to study!

My teaching method is through breaking ideas down into familiar basics the student will already know. By basing the topic on real life situations, the topic becomes a lot more accessible and we can build on and work together to fill in the gaps of knowledge and solidify the understanding. The lessons are always engaging and fun!
The teaching is aimed at anyone in school, from years 1 to 13.
