About Megan

My students have time and time again praised my patience and kindness. I will always have your child's best interest in mind and be ready to try again and again to boost not only their marks but their confidence. Outside of teaching, I am a highly passionate and ambitious person, currently studying Vision Science/Clinical Optometry at UNSW with a high distinction WAM/weighted GPA of 6.91. I was a MATRIX scholar and have received high distinctions in ICAS, placed 1st and 2nd in national and Australasian philosophy and received the Holistic Learner Award at my high school, North Sydney Girls.

About the lesson

English lessons are typically 1.5hrs however are highly flexible to students needs.

The first lessons are diagnostic, so I can understand more about each student's individual strengths/ weaknesses before crafting a unique lesson plan. This lesson also helps me adjust my teaching style to benefit each child.

I have been tutoring for almost two years now, teaching over 15 students in my time in general English, OC/ Selective and HSC. Many of my students have received offers into their first/ second preference schools. One of my students went from 40s in English paper to 78 in just one lesson! She later got an offer into her dream selective school at St George Girls.
