About Vertex
Our tutors at Vertex are high-achieving university students and graduates with strong academic records in their respective subjects. With firsthand experience navigating high-pressure exams such as HSC and other Australian year 12 exams as well as UCAT, we understand the academic and mental challenges students face allowing us to teach not only content, but effective study systems and exam strategies. At Vertex, we focus on concept mastery, structured problem-solving, and exam strategy to help students build confidence and achieve strong academic results. Lessons typically run for 60–120 minutes and include concept review, guided practice, exam-style questions, and personalised feedback. Our tutors are high-achieving university students with firsthand HSC and UCAT experience, providing both academic support and mentorship. We tutor high school students (Years 7–12), including year 12 exams preparation and general mentorship, across all levels of English, Mathematics and Science.
