I graduated from Holy Cross College High School in 2022, currently enrolled to study in a dual degree, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics at the University of Sydney.‎‎‎‎‎‎‏ My personalized approach to teaching is highly exam specific allowing students to become more efficient in their studies and ensuring that they will perform at their absolute best! I also seek to mentor students in their time management strategies and study techniques in order to reduce stress and gain an optimistic attitude to their studies. WHAT I OFFER:

For Mathematics, I aim to provide a conceptual understanding of all topics so that students can excel in the new syllabus which PUNISHES mindless note copying and rote learning. Especially in the new syllabus, mathematics is all about diversifying and strengthening your ‘TOOL BELT’ to be able to tackle any question and become more comfortable with higher order band 6 material. In my experience, I have found that some students fall into the trap of only doing exam questions a week before their exam, and thus have to learn for the first time how concepts are actually assessed and miss out on reaching deeper levels of understanding. My lessons are TAILORED to best prepare students for exams as they focus on answering exam-style questions IN CONJUNCTION to learning the concept so that students are exam ready months before their upcoming exams and have more time to refine their mathematical tool belt.

As I was accelerated in Mathematics Advanced in Year 11, I can provide students with a highly comprehensive approach to the HSC proven to be effective in both my years of senior schooling. I have always had a deep passion for mathematics which I have found is infectious to my students who too marvel and get excited at the discovery of a new way of thinking that they can apply in their exams. Thousands of mathematics questions specifically tailored to each topic that each student gets to keep, all available on my interactive student portal. Expert help with exam technique, exam preparation, time management and mental coaching in order to help alleviate stress and ensure you perform at your very best!

For English, I prepare my students to be able to tackle any question the HSC can throw at them. I provide students with a framework for writing that elevates their writing and allows them to STAND OUT in exams. I achieve this by covering these points in classes. Breaking down all the complexities of essay writing into a SIMPLE system that guarantees a high band 6 essay. Walking you through the exact method of paragraph construction and quote selection so that your essays are sophisticated. Facilitating in-depth critical discussion and providing notes to help you develop a comprehensive understanding of the prescribed texts. Going through fully analysed essay examples, that show you exactly what to do and what NOT to do, which you then get to keep.
