My name is Raph. I’m a fourth year Chancellor’s Scholar at the University of Melbourne, and I specialise in tutoring year 10-12 students in VCE Physics. I have tutored numerous students over the past 3 years with great success. 1. Understanding
Under my guidance, I will walk you through the VCE Physics syllabus, explaining concepts dot point by dot point. For each concept, I will rigorously test your understanding to ensure that you fully “get it”.
2. Memorisation
Once comprehensive “Understanding” is achieved, I will provide you with notes and guidance on what to memorise and what not to memorise, i.e. formulae, key points, facts, statistics, etc.
3. Practice
This is the most important step. In past papers, I’ll show you how I structure my responses, how to do the calculation questions, my approach and thought process, and provide you with invaluable exam techniques having studied my students’ past mistakes.
With these three steps, a student will improve drastically, and I’ve had great success with that.
