My teaching methods are to allow both individuality and creativity to flow freely from every student. I base most of my teachings on current trends in the music industry such as software, technology, and current/past audio production principles. As the field of audio is very broad, a brief understanding of basic sound theory, physics, audio history, and music production function will be covered. Most information given will allow students to practically analyze and prepare them for either further study in the field or practical knowledge to broaden their understanding of the subject.
I am a recent graduate in the field of audio production and engineering in which I obtained my bachelor at the Southern Institute of Technology, completing my course major at the School of Audio Engineering in Byron Bay. I have been involved with the New Zealand music industry for over 5 years and have 9 years of audio production experience. I have taught basic audio production skills to high school students at various community centers in Invercargill, New Zealand.
