About Karina
I finished my IB (in Spanish) in Mexico in May 2018. I took Higher Level Maths and Standard Level Chemistry (my school didn't offer Higher Level Chemistry). I have tutored ESL for four years, taught violin lessons for two, and helped tutor peers at High School in subjects like Maths and Chemistry. I would be happy to tutor students up to year 10.

My aim is to teach students in such a way that they feel competent and independent to solve problems by themselves. I give slow explanations with lots of examples, and ask questions along the way, to check if the student is understanding. Also, I am a great believer in the importance of lots of practice for succeeding in Maths!
