About Hamish
My name is Hamish Burnie and I am currently a student studying at the ANU with a double degree in economics and environmental science. I graduated from Brisbane Boys' College at the end of 2023 with a 95.6 ATAR. I have been tutoring for the past two years and over that time have helped many students through the QCE system and achieve those scores that they want. Whether it be going through class content, practice exams and questions or simply getting help on an assignment I would be more than happy to help.

I am a tutor with 2 years of experience, specializing in Senior Maths Methods, Chemistry, and both Modern and Ancient History for senior school students. My teaching methodology focuses on active learning and concept mastery, ensuring students fully understand core principles before applying them to problem-solving. My sessions are designed for senior high school students, aiming to strengthen their subject knowledge, exam preparation, and study strategies, with the goal of improving their overall performance. I bring a deep understanding of these subjects, having excelled in them myself at ANU, and am passionate about helping students develop both their academic skills and their confidence.
