About Erika

I am a highly motivated and academically driven German language instructor with a strong international background and over ten years of experience living and studying in German-speaking countries. Having completed my secondary education in Germany and currently pursuing a degree in Law at the University of Vienna, I use German daily at an advanced academic and professional level.

Teaching for me is not only about grammar and vocabulary — it is about building confidence, precision, and the ability to express oneself clearly and convincingly. I value structured, goal-oriented lessons combined with an encouraging and motivating atmosphere. My legal studies have trained me to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way, which greatly benefits my students.

I have worked with children from the age of five as well as adults of all ages and language levels. I particularly enjoy working with ambitious learners who have clear goals — whether preparing for exams, relocating to a German-speaking country, improving pronunciation, or refining academic German.

My teaching style is structured yet flexible. I tailor every lesson individually, focusing on measurable progress, intellectual engagement, and practical communication skills. I believe that learning a language should be both disciplined and inspiring.

About the lesson

This course is designed for learners of all levels – from absolute beginners to advanced students seeking academic precision and linguistic confidence. With over ten years of academic and professional experience in German-speaking countries, I bring both practical language competence and a strong academic background to my teaching.

As a law student at the University of Vienna with extensive experience reading, analyzing, and discussing complex academic texts, I am particularly well-equipped to support advanced learners, university students, and professionals who require sophisticated language skills. At the same time, I have worked with children (from age five) and adult learners of all ages, adapting my methodology individually to each student’s needs.

I offer structured grammar training, conversation practice, pronunciation improvement, exam preparation, and targeted support for relocation, professional integration, or academic goals. My lessons are goal-oriented, intellectually engaging, and tailored to ensure measurable progress while maintaining a motivating learning environment.

Whether you aim to pass an exam, move to a German-speaking country, or refine your academic German, this course provides the structure, expertise, and flexibility to help you succeed

I took German lessons with Erika (collegue’s daughter) , and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! My German improved so much — way more than I expected. She explains everything clearly and makes even difficult grammar feel easy and manageable.

Erika is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. She always created a comfortable atmosphere where I wasn’t afraid to make mistakes. Our lessons were not only productive but also genuinely fun — I actually looked forward to every class!

Erika is fluent in both English and Russian, and that helped me a lot during the learning process. She could always explain difficult topics in a way that was easy for me to understand.

Thanks to her teaching style and positive energy, learning German became something I truly enjoyed. I highly recommend Erika to anyone who wants to learn German effectively and with pleasure!
