About Mirka
I become AUSTSWIM qualified in 2017 and obtained my infant and preschool qualification in 2019. Since becoming a swim instructor I have gained experience in teaching babies as young as 3 months and have taught all ages up to adulthood.

I teach using positive reinforcement. Rather than punishing bad behaviour, I over praise and reward good behaviour. I am strict when necessary, especially regarding safety, but prefer to keep a the lesson positive as I believe children are more willing to learn when they are enjoying themselves
