About Delphine

Teaching is my passion. I was a teacher in French schools for twenty years before moving to Florida a few months ago. I know what it is to learn a second language. I have experience at all levels of education, from elementary school to university level. I also taught adult evening classes for a few years.
I can help you with each skills needed in language practice: speaking, writing, listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation...I adapt my lesson plan to each individual needs.

About the lesson

I usually get to know my student first. It's an essential step for me to design a lesson plan based on people's needs, strengths or weaknesses, pace, objectives...
I do not have a pre-established methodology, I adapt my lessons to my student's learning style and personality. I can design oral lessons, performance-based lessons, traditional language lessons, implementing them with exercises and individual practice...
Thanks to my 20 years of experience in teaching, I decipher rapidly which method will be the best suited for each of my students.

Perfect! Delphine is an excellent French tutor. She is very knowledgeable of the French language and culture. She is also very positive and patient with the learning process. She presents her lessons in a very organized manner and is very engaging with her French language instruction. Learning French with Delphine is a very happy, positive and enjoyable process. Since working with her my pronunciation, speaking and comprehension of the French language and culture has progressed substantially. I really enjoy learning French with Delphine.
