About Luke
I'm currently a First Officer with British Airways, before studying at Skyborne Airline Academy, I studied aviation management in London for 3 years while I also completing PPL hours and exams.
I grew up in Yorkshire and always knew that I wanted to work in aviation but only really decided it would be as a pilot when I was around 17, I did a trial flight at Leeds Bradford Airport and was hooked instantly.
Throughout my time in flight school I always enjoyed the opportunity to help my peers if they were struggling in a particular subject running an unofficial Gen Nav and Flight Planning club at times.
I look forward to continuing to use skills and knowledge that I have acquired over almost 5 years to continue to help future pilots.

Experience tutoring my fellow student while in ground school, fluent in the use of the CRP5 and strong understanding of gen nav, flight planning, pof and performance as well as altimetry
Ideal lesson would consist of you identifying a weaker part of your studies that we could focus on or working through specific parts of the ATPLq question bank and explaining as we go.
I can also provide additional tips and tricks to remember certain things as well as a few cheat sheets to make everything a bit more manageable.
If a particular area of information is proving hard to retain then I will assist you to come up with a pneumonic or unique way of remembering it etc
I also work with students wanting to start their ATPL studies in the near future and can offer maths refreshers focussed around aviation as well as preparing you for the harder parts of some of the harder subjects
