About Robert
It was always my dream to be an actor; tell stories and be on the big screen. Over the last 10+ years I have learned that it is really so much more than that. It is our duty as storytellers to tell stories. Remember, stories change the world.
My journey started in Toronto, Ontario when I was getting out of high school. This is when I first started training with different coaches across the city. It took years for me to really find my footing and then I was off and running! I believe it took so long because you come across a lot of coaches with a lot of their own opinions which can be confusing.
The one factor that I found common through all these coaches was, none of them were working actors. If their ways were so good then how come they were not working?
It was not until I started working with coaches outside the Toronto area and really opening up to new ways of simplifying thing, that I started booking.
Since my first television booking on ABC's Designated Survivor in 2015, I have not stopped working. I have since, played guest star roles on Amazon Prime's American Gods, Ransom, Bizarre Murders, Heartland and much more.
In 2017, starring in the Netflix Original series Slasher opened up more and more opportunities that came my way next.
Expanding my craft, I decided to jump into theatre for a bit, and was very successful in that as well. Receiving Pick of the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2017 as the lead actor in the play.
In 2018, I was casted as a supporting actor, beside the brilliant Karena Evans, in Firecrackers which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Starting my own production company in 2016, I have also written, directed, produced and starred in six of my own films. Being accepted and winning awards at film festivals around the world. Four of them being, Best Actor Awards.
I take great pride in my work and continue to work on my craft daily. I am fascinated by people and learn so much from them. Let's see if my approach can help you and if we can learn off each other. I guarantee it will and we can.
