About Ethan
I have successfully competed and won various state and national debating and public speaking competitions. I specialize in coaching for UN Youth Voice, Legacy, Plain English, Rostrum, and the Lawrence Campbell Oratory Competition. However, I also remember being rejected from my school's primary school debating team. I remember being a timid speaker who didn't even make the next round of a public speaking competition. It wasn't until I sought support from coaches and mentors that I began to see success. This has affirmed to me that improving at public speaking and debating is possible at any level. I use this growth mindset to inform my coaching. I was the school captain at my high school, a testament to my ability to persuade and influence through speech. I have been a freelance speechwriter for the past three years. Additionally, I have coached high school and primary school students in debating.
