About Ayushi
Hi, I’m Ayushi, the founder of SYNC IB Tutoring. I started tutoring because I know firsthand how overwhelming the IB can feel. When I was going through it myself, I often wished I had someone who truly understood the pressure, the content, and the expectations. Just someone who could break it all down, keep me motivated, and remind me I was capable. After graduating with a 99.1 ATAR and receiving academic excellence in the IB Diploma, I began mentoring students and quickly realized how much I loved it. Not just helping them improve their marks, but also building their confidence and giving them a sense of control over their learning. Over the years, it became more than just tutoring; it became a way to genuinely support students through one of the most challenging academic journeys. That’s what inspired me to create SYNC IB Tutoring: a service built by someone who’s been through it, for students who want personalized, relatable, and expert guidance from tutors who get it. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I take time to understand where each student is starting from, and tailor lessons to meet them at their level, whether they need help with subject content, internal assessments, or exam strategy. Sessions usually run for 60 minutes, but I stay flexible to meet each student's needs. I primarily work with Year 10–12 IB students, whether they’re just beginning or gearing up for final exams. My goal is always the same: to help them feel less stressed, more prepared, and confident in themselves.

As a tutor, my approach is student-centred and outcomes-focused. I tailor each lesson to suit the individual learning style, pace, and academic goals of my students. I break down complex IB concepts into digestible steps, using active questioning and real-world examples to promote deep understanding rather than memorisation.
Teaching Techniques & Methodology:
I use a mix of visual aids, worked examples, interactive problem-solving, and spaced repetition to boost retention. I also focus on exam strategies, time management, and building confidence through guided practice and feedback. For IA and EE support, I guide students through the structure, analysis, and reflection process to help them meet the IB criteria effectively.
Lesson Length:
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, but I offer flexibility based on the student's needs and attention span. These lessons run weekly on zoom.

My name is Ayushi, the founder of SYNC IB Tutoring. With over 4 years of experience tutoring IB students, I graduated with a 99.1 ATAR and achieved academic excellence in the IB Diploma. I’ve supported students across a range of IB subjects, helping them improve grades and study habits. My students over the years have excelled in the IB diploma and have followed through to complete degrees in Medicine, STEM and Law.
