About Sanelisiwe
I am a 4th year teaching student and i major in Economics, i have been tutoring economics for the past 2 years to Matric and first year students. I also teach natural science up to grade 9 level when i do my practicals in primary and high/secondary schools.
I am looking forward to tutoring individual or group students.
I am not just doing teaching as a profession but its part of who i am, i am good at helping students discover their weaknesses in a subject and turn them into strength, this makes students start to enjoy the subject which improves academic results.

As a teacher i start by getting to know my learners, during the first lesson i try to get an idea about each learner in order to apply my methodology in a manner that will benefit everyone.
The method that i use is the Student centered method. Here lessons are more about the student then it is about myself, i ask them questions, i make them read when we are discussing, i pay attention to their opinions before i explain anything, i allow them to work in groups or as individuals, if they dont know the meaning of certain words i help them and teach them how to use dictionaries.
During projects and investigation assessments, as a teacher i work as a support structure that gives guidance and assist learners when they encounter difficulties rather than being a sole authority figure.
