About Abhay

I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor who combines up-to-date syllabus knowledge with firsthand experience of what truly works for high school students. I didn’t start as a naturally gifted student at the beginning of Extension 2 Mathematics, I was at the bottom rung of my class. But through consistent effort, smarter study strategies, and a willingness to refine my understanding from the ground up, I climbed to 7th place by the time of our trial exams. That journey shaped how I teach. I understand what it feels like to struggle with difficult content, and I know how to break concepts down in a way that is clear, logical, and personalized. My approach blends academic guidance with the mindset, structure, and problem-solving habits that helped me turn things around. I’m professional, reliable, and genuinely committed to helping students reach their potential whether they’re aiming to build confidence, improve consistency, or push towards top ranks.

About the lesson

My lessons work in two complementary ways. First, we follow the content closely, going through each syllabus requirement in depth and then reassessing your understanding with premium, carefully selected questions designed to reveal specific gaps for improvement. Second, we work through your doubts directly, finding similar questions and practising a wide variety of problems across a broad range of difficulties. This combination structured syllabus coverage plus targeted doubt-clearing and diverse practice ensures steady improvement and a stronger grasp of concepts.

1-2hour lessons that are customisable by increments and decrements of 15 minutes.

I have experience tutoring my brother and mentoring many family friends successfully towards objective improvement
