About Charloise
Monash University granted me a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and Spanish, which feels like a strange starting point for someone obsessed with grammar mechanics. Most people expect a teacher to hide behind a desk, yet I prefer standing in the middle of the room.
13 years of experience means I have seen every possible error in verb conjugation and accent placement. Teaching over 200 students has sharpened my ability to diagnose issues with Latin American versus Castilian variants instantly.
I guide Year 11 and 12 students through VCE and HSC LOTE hurdles with a direct approach. Adult learners preparing for DELE exams find my sessions challenging but manageable.
We often discuss business Spanish or interview techniques during our time together. Helping people gain confidence with everyday phrases or complex idioms brings me genuine satisfaction. It is simply enjoyable to watch someone finally grasp a difficult concept.

Struggling to sound natural while speaking Spanish happens to almost everyone at the start. It is quite common to feel frozen when trying to explain simple ideas in a foreign language. My 13 years of experience as an IB French and Spanish HL specialist help me identify why your sentence structure feels stiff. We use a homework module with feedback after every class to ensure you do not repeat the same mistakes.
You might be a traveller, a teen, or someone moving abroad for work, so I keep our conversations relevant to your reality. I integrate my university training to explain why certain grammar rules exist beyond the textbook.
My teaching is direct because I know you value your time as much as I do. You will find that our practice sessions move quickly and stay focused on your specific goals. I really do like seeing my students succeed in their upcoming exams and personal life projects.
