About D'arcy
I love writing, reading and creativity. I have studied philosophy, history and Spanish. I completed exchange at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in 2019. I am happy to help you in any of these areas. In my spare time, I play in Naarm based art rock band, Think About You, described by Stew Magazine as a “unique blend of Celtic folk and Australian garage punk.” I have recorded cello for a variety of local acts including Birdpop, Mousetouille, and Jack Spencer. I love to swim and run. I'm just about to go for a dip in the Yarra around Abbotsford, which, apparently these days, is just as safe as St Kilda.

In mid-2021, I graduated with First Class Honours in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. My thesis titled, Depression as Pathological Outcome of Neoliberal Ideology: Resistance to Normative Depression in Sally Rooney’s Normal People.
My first writing was subsequently published in literary journals the Australian Poetry Anthology and Cordite Poetry Review. I am currently studying the Juris Doctor of Law at the University of Melbourne.
I have several years of tutoring experience, working with students at various levels from primary school to university. I have also taught in classroom settings, giving me a diverse perspective on different teaching environments.
