About Susan
Singing should feel as natural as breathing. I provide clear instruction on pitch control and genre styling to help you find your unique signature. Teens and kids often appreciate the way I explain complex anatomy through simple metaphors. Given my degree from the University of Melbourne I offer a structured path that respects your vocal health. My 14 years of experience ensure that we cover material that is both challenging and enjoyable. I find great joy in watching a student finally reach a note that once felt impossible.

Humming a melody while the Colombian sun warmed my back remains my earliest memory of sound. I arrived in Australia with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a deep connection to vocal expression. My 14 years of instruction have brought me to work with 95 students across various backgrounds. We explore how head and chest voice interact to create dynamic range. Microphone technique is often overlooked but I ensure it becomes second nature. Diction and articulation provide the foundation for clear communication in pop or musical theatre. I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes for every participant. My approach emphasizes comfort and authenticity over rigid perfection.
