About Sophie
I am a student myself at university, studying a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English Literature and Counseling. I am a first-year student looking for work that will give me experience and will allow me to share my expertise with English skills academically and creatively.
I tutor in a friendly manner but will remain professional when it comes to the lessons.

I teach collaboratively, with strong rapport building with students in order to gauge their learning capabilities. My strengths lie in reading literature and writing for English in a creative or scholarly manner, and I can assist in strengthening a student's participation in English. I have also previously studied two certificates in community service (counselling/social work), so I have skills there too.
Lesson length can be determined by thestudent; however, it is optimal for 1-2 hours of teaching.
My experiences come from my own learning as well as the volunteering I have dedicated hours to over two years at StoryFactory.
I am able to tutor from primary level to high school level, and am open to adults.
