I have found the most effective way to learn and understand a topic is to be able to teach it to another person. Throughout my education, I've always had a lot of fun helping my friends learn and develop their understanding.
I love seeing people progress and find genuine interests and new passions through their learning.

Tutoring is most effective when students can set the pace and focus that addresses their own interests, questions and sticking points. I try and personalise my tutoring so students feel more confident and get more out of regular classes.
My strongest experience is in analysis and creative writing, and teaching writing structure that appeals to markers. I also have experience in a wide range of high-school subjects, including maths and physics.
A typical length of a lesson would be around an hour, but I am happy to take more time if necessary, or teach a shorter and narrower lesson if preferred.
