About Shantiay
"Sometimes it starts with a single chord progression that changes the way you hear music. I have taught 40 students over my 13 years of work, helping beginners and professionals find their own voice. My journey shifted from studio sessions to full-time teaching because I love helping people grow.
Whether you are a kid, a returning player, or an adult professional, we move at your pace. I keep things practical so you can hear the difference in your playing quickly. My background at the Queensland Conservatorium influences how I structure each session for you. I am a friendly guide for your musical journey."

"Honestly, the hardest part of learning guitar is simply knowing where to put your fingers next. I prioritize steady pacing so you do not feel overwhelmed by complex theory or technical demands.
We spend our time exploring blues progressions, reading tabs, and mastering those difficult barre chords. I share free chord charts and tab sheets after every class to keep your practice organized.
Writing your own songs is also a major focus for those who want to express their own ideas. My 13 years of experience means I can spot exactly what is holding you back from playing smoothly.
I prefer to keep feedback direct and encouraging. You will find that electric technique becomes second nature with enough repetition. It is always a pleasure to see a student finally nail a song they have been practicing for weeks. Hope to see you in the studio soon."
