About Ghazal
Hi! I'm Ghazal, an Honors Bachelor of Music graduate from McMaster University with 15+ of experience playing the flute. Throughout my musical journey, I've performed in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and solo recitals in Canada and Iran.
From an early age, I discovered that music became my way of expressing myself. It taught me confidence, creativity, discipline, and gave me a place where I could truly be myself. That experience continues to shape the way I teach, and it's what inspires me to help every student discover their own unique musical voice.
My goal is to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their creativity, and building confidence at their own pace. Whether you or your child is picking up the flute for the very first time or looking to build on existing skills, I'm committed to helping them grow while making music something they genuinely look forward to each week.
Lessons are available in English or Farsi, either in person in Toronto or online.

I believe that learning to love music comes before learning to master an instrument. While strong technique and musicianship are important, my greatest goal is to help each student build a genuine connection with music and discover their own musical voice.
Every child learns differently, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I adapt each lesson to my student's personality, interests, goals, and pace, creating an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
My students won't all sound the same, because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop their own relationship with music. Rather than following a rigid formula, I guide students toward finding the way of learning that inspires them most, while building strong technical foundations that support their growth as musicians.
Whether a student is picking up the flute for the very first time or preparing for school band, every lesson is designed to help them leave feeling more confident, more capable, and excited to pick up their flute again. When students genuinely enjoy making music and feel ownership over their learning, technical growth follows naturally.

Details
The first lesson is a chance for us to get to know one another, discuss goals, and make sure we're a great fit. Students are welcome to bring school band music or begin from the very first note. Lessons are personalized for every student, and parents are always welcome to ask questions or discuss their child's progress.
