About Almitra
My name is Almitra Mavalvala, and I am a proud Persian Pakistani artist, with a Bachelor in Music (Music Theatre) on a journey of illumination through performance, writing, composing, and independent production. I am a fun-loving, down to earth human who takes pride in her craft and has a passion for teaching.
When I am not writing music or stories, I like reading them by the beach with a nice cup of tea.
My credits include; Fiddler on the Roof (Willoughby Theatre Company) & Kinky Boots (Packemin Production). I was also part of the Feminist Comedy show ‘Tough Titties’ as a featured musical artist. My screen credits include, a short film, ‘Red Lantern’ (Noah Films, Supporting Female Lead)
I have composed and written music for various projects, including "The Breaths in Between" with Eleven O Clock Theatre and am currently developing my own musical, "Aaliyah.”, that aims to spread awareness about living with Epilepsy.
