About Henry
Hi, I'm Henry, a guitarist, composer and music producer based in Sydney. I hold a Bachelor of Composition & Music Production from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) and have seven years of experience teaching guitar to students with a range of ages and abilities.
Music has always been a major part of my life, and I enjoy helping other musicians develop their own skills, interests and musical ideas. My own musical background spans rock, metal, alternative music and songwriting, and I particularly enjoy exploring what makes riffs, songs and musical ideas work.
I aim to make lessons practical, engaging and relevant to the music each student actually enjoys. Whether you're picking up the guitar for the first time or already have some experience, I'm here to help you become a more confident player and develop your own musical voice.

My lessons are designed to help students become better guitarists while developing their own musical ideas and interests. I teach beginner to intermediate players, with particular interest in rock, metal, riffs, songwriting and creative musicianship.
Lessons are tailored to each student's goals and can include learning songs, guitar technique, rhythm, playing by ear, understanding riffs and songwriting, or developing your own ideas. I use practical demonstrations and examples to help students understand concepts and apply them directly to their playing.
I have over 7 years of guitar teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Composition & Music Production from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM). Lessons take place face-to-face at ToneCraft Music Studio in Putney.
