About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques: I employ a communicative approach, emphasizing conversation and practical language skills. We dive into real-life scenarios, fostering language acquisition naturally. Grammar and vocabulary are integrated seamlessly. Interactive activities, multimedia resources, and role-play enhance engagement.

Typical Lesson Plan: A typical lesson begins with a warm-up conversation to gauge your proficiency and set objectives. We then delve into themed activities, such as dialogues, games, and exercises, targeting key language areas. I encourage questions and discussions. Homework assignments reinforce learning, and periodic assessments track progress.

What Sets Me Apart: My deep cultural understanding as a native of Barcelona enriches lessons with cultural insights, making language learning more holistic. I adapt lessons to your interests and goals, whether for travel, business, or personal growth. My 10+ years of teaching experience enable me to connect effectively with students of all levels and backgrounds.

Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons cater to a diverse audience, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners of all ages. Whether you're a student, professional, or someone looking to explore Spanish for personal enrichment, I customize lessons to suit your specific needs and objectives.

My goal is to empower you with the language skills and cultural insights to confidently navigate the Spanish-speaking world. Let's embark on this exciting journey together!

Perfect! I've been taking classes with Emelyne for around a month at this point and she's fantastic!
She's very understanding and will take time to probe where your confusion is coming from, and will use that to really help you get a better grasp of the content. She's also is very conversational and fun, there's almost a guarantee that there isn't a dull moment in the time you have together.
All in all, would definitely recommend her to anyone trying to learn a new language!

Perfect! Emelyne is a super excellent Spanish tutor. Both my daughter and myself are learning Spanish with her on a regular basis. It is indeed a non-trivial job to have a 3 year old child get interested in and learn a brand new language, but Emelyne can always make it so fun and interactive, such that my young daughter gets well engaged and naturally learns the language through games, plays and other intriguing activities. I’d highly recommend Emelyne if you also have a little one at home to be tutored. In addition, Emelyne is an excellent tutor for adult learners too. She is very patient and can explain the grammar, pronunciation techniques, and other language details clearly. It is quite a productive and pleasant learning experience with Emelyne.

Emelyne is a very patient teacher; she is able to thoroughly explain everything and will aid in helping me to perfect the mistakes I would make throughout the lessons. Although learning a new language is very difficult, with Emelyne’s teaching style, she helps me to feel confident in my learning abilities.
