About Jefferson
"You have likely struggled to find a mentor who balances deep technical knowledge with a friendly, patient teaching style. My journey includes 12 years of professional performance and full-time instruction for 295 students.
I offer a comprehensive look at guitar, ranging from power chords and barre chords to refined acoustic technique. Reading sheet music and grade exam prep are core parts of my current curriculum. "Struggling to get those barre chords to ring out clearly is a common hurdle for many of my students. 12 years of teaching has shown me that small adjustments in hand position solve 90 percent of these technical issues. I share free chord charts and tab sheets after each class to help you practice effectively between our sessions. My Master of Music degree from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music gives me a unique perspective on string mechanics.
