About Andrei

I am an architecture tutor with over 7 years of experience who has graduated from The Bartlett School of Architecture with First Class Honours and a MArch graduate at the same institution. I offer tutoring sessions to people looking to study architecture/interior design at university as well as people currently studying in undergraduate programmes who need help with software learning, portfolio preparation or job applications. Universities I held offers from: - The Bartlett, UCL - Bath - AA - Cardiff - Sheffield Aside from tutoring, I am also a: - Architectural Assistant for Matt Architecture - Bartlett Digital Skills tutor - Bartlett Summer School tutor - RIBA Ambassador - Architectural designer for KR3N.

About the lesson

The first lesson will always start by figuring out what you want to achieve and what steps we need to take to get there, whether that is for university applications, CV preparations, or software learning. PORTFOLIO PREPARATION: We will discuss everything from the layout of the portfolio, development of ideas, graphical output and legibility of drawings in order to build on your existing portfolio or to start one up from scratch. APPLICATIONS PREPARATION: We will go through what makes a good CV (legibility as well as content), how to prepare for an interview (university or a Part 1 position) and also work on your presentation skills. SOFTWARE WORKSHOPS: Tutorials on commonly used software in Architectural education and industry. Rhino (3D Modelling) - Vray (rendering) - Photoshop (photo editing) - InDesign (portfolio design) - Illustrator - (line drawings) - Enscape (rendering) - Revit (industry software)
