About Joe
I am a retired elementary teacher. Baseball has been a lifelong passion that I have shared with my family and others. I have coached little league for several years, I have been an umpire at the middle school level for girls' softball & have umpired men's softball leagues. I played softball for 15 years as well.

My teaching approach is scaffolding. We will take from your experiences and the things you know, then we will build upon your knowledge. Baseball is a very complicated game that takes years to master. The rule book is intimidating and appears as if you need a law degree to read it. I have been an elementary teacher for 20 years and am able to work with students of all ages.
