About YXL

I am now specialized as an venue organizer. I have been giving part-time private tutoring since the age of 16, to young children age between 7-10 years old. Children loves my teaching as they get to express their thoughts and views incorporated into their lessons. I always believe in laying a strong learning foundation while learning mandarin, in order to excel well in reading, writing and conversing in mandarin in the near future.

About the lesson

I am born and raised in Singapore. English is our main spoken language and Mandarin is our second language, my mother tongue. Timeline and coverage will be based on the students' progression.
There will be six areas of focus:

1. Reading and Recognizing
2. Writing
3. Prounciation (Hanyu Pinyin)
4. Chinese Grammer
5. Chinese - Sentence Construction and Words Rearrangement
6. Chinese Comprehension

I am currently in the midst of application for Working with Children (WWC) check.
For children age below 18 years old, lessons will only commence after certification has been obtained.
