About Caleb
Kia ora! My name is Caleb Mujiono, and I am a university student studying to become a teacher at the University of Waikato. Since the age of 10, I’ve had a deep passion for playing guitar and a love for singing. Music has always been a big part of my life, and sharing that joy with others is something I value greatly. I believe teaching is one of the most rewarding careers in the world. Having a positive impact, supporting others, and seeing students grow in confidence and skill are what inspired me to become a teacher. My goal is to inspire you to pick up that guitar and discover what you’re capable of—one chord, one song, one step at a time. I believe anyone can play guitar with the right support, encouragement, and a learning environment where they feel confident to try, grow, and have fun. Together, we’ll build your skills, spark your creativity, and help you enjoy every moment of making music.

- I have 2 years of experience teaching students (Year 3-8) from my teaching practicums in university - I have a strong passion for teaching guitar & singing. - My teaching style is very relaxed, patient, fun, and flexible. - We work at your own pace. Each lesson progresses toward your personal goals, while we have fun & enjoy building your confidence together. - I adapt all my lessons to suit your ability & play to your strengths. - My lessons are aimed at beginner/novice-level acoustic guitar players. - My lessons include vocal training for guitar player who want to sing. - I have a passion for musical theatre & have experience performing in front of crowds. I can support you in helping with vocal ability & how to sing while playing guitar - I teach from Years 3-8. - My lessons are typically around 60-120 minutes. My lesson can be taught at home, online, or I can travel to you within Hamilton. (Additional travel cost dependent on distance)
