Hello! My name is Gilberto, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Mexico currently living in Canada. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and I am currently studying Project Management.
I offer simple and patient math lessons focused on helping students understand the basics step by step. I work with elementary and high school students who need support with fundamental concepts, homework, and problem-solving skills. My goal is to make math easier to understand through clear and practical explanations adapted to each student’s pace. I focus on breaking down each topic into simple steps so students can build confidence and improve their understanding.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and structured, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and practicing. I also have experience helping others learn through informal explanations, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts in a simple and practical way.
In addition to math, I also offer Spanish lessons for beginners and beginner English for Spanish speakers, focused on communication, vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence-building.
Whether your goal is to improve in math, learn Spanish, or build confidence in English, I will be happy to support you in reaching your goals.
