About MERT
Basketball Coach | Basketball Analyst | Statistician
Hi, I'm Mert.
My basketball background includes coaching, game analysis, statistics, team management, and player development.
I hold Turkish Basketball Federation coaching and management certifications and have worked in multiple roles within basketball organizations. My experience includes youth coaching, official game statistics, team operations, performance analysis, and basketball development programs.
I have worked with boys' and girls' teams from U5 to U18 levels, serving as both a head coach and assistant coach. My focus is helping players develop strong fundamentals, basketball IQ, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game.
Alongside coaching, I worked as an official Turkish Basketball Federation statistician for two seasons and completed a management internship with a professional first-division basketball club. This experience strengthened my skills in video analysis, player evaluation, game preparation, and performance assessment.
My goal is to help players become smarter, more skilled, and more confident basketball players while building a long-term passion for the game.

In addition to coaching, my background in basketball statistics and video analysis allows me to help players better understand the game, identify areas for improvement, and develop smarter decision-making on the court.
